Behind the name
Brighton Rock is a story by Classic British novelist Graham Green, published in 1938 and later adapted for two films, 1947 and 2010. The novel is a murder thriller, set in Brighton during the 1930s. There are links between this novel and an earlier Green novel called A Gun for Sale (1936): Raven murders gang boss Kite, allowing Pinkie to take over the gang and thus set in motion events that are played out in Brighton Rock.
Brighton Rock is also a sweet treat, sold traditionally at seaside resorts. The term Brighton rock is also used as a metaphor for human character. Whether navigating human behaviours, enjoying a sweet treat or indulging in a classic thriller, let Brighton Rock nail polish enhance the pleasure of your day!
