We DO NOT include Lead in our '9-FREE' nail polish.
Lead has been labelled as a potential human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Is considered to be a known carcinogen and reproductive toxicant by the State of California Environmental Protection Agency (Proposition 65 List of Carcinogens). Can cause skin and eye irritation and blood and central nervous system effects. It is toxic by ingestion, inhalation and skin absorption. Presents a possible risk of impaired fertility and harm to unborn children. Banned from cosmetic products in Canada and the EU, due to its carcinogenicity and reproductive toxicity.
